Pleasanton is 8-2 against Ansley/Litchfield since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pleasanton Bulldogs will host the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans at 6:00 p.m.
In Friday's Canine Competition, Pleasanton had to take the L. They took a 62-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Loomis. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kenlie Zwiener, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (four). Tyra Sekutera was another key player, going 6-for-12 en route to 21 points and three steals.
Even though they lost, Pleasanton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Ansley/Litchfield was able to grind out a solid win over Anselmo-Merna on Friday, taking the game 38-27.
Ansley/Litchfield's win came from a few key players Pleasanton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Caydence Feldman, who posted nine points in addition to six assists and four steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerry M Ryan, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 12 points along with six boards and five blocks.
Pleasanton's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Ansley/Litchfield, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Pleasanton has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 31 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Ansley/Litchfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Pleasanton strolled past Ansley/Litchfield in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 50-31. Will Pleasanton repeat their success, or does Ansley/Litchfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
