The Ravenswood Red Devils will head out on the road to take on the Wahama White Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Ravenswood will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Ravenswood put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 61-37 margin over Tyler. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Ravenswood has posted since December 11, 2023.
It was another big night for Hadleigh McGoskey, who scored 23 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ravenswood's points. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Adams, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Wahama's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They secured a 35-30 W over Buffalo. The win was all the more spectacular given Wahama's disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 427th, while Buffalo is ranked 56th).
Ravenswood's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5. Wahama's record now sits at 4-5.
Ravenswood skirted past Wahama 60-58 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ravenswood since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
