Baseball Recap: Beaver Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Beaver had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Hurricane Tigers on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Beavers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Davis Carter was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Hollingshead, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Looking ahead, Beaver will face off against Gunnison Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Hurricane, they will challenge Enterprise at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
