Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hobbs to victory, but perhaps none more so than Abraham Pe?a, who scored 16 points along with four steals. Pe?a is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Braylon Vega, who scored 15 points along with six assists and three steals.
Hobbs' victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9. As for Manzano, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hobbs will take on Las Cruces at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
