The Williams Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Hunt Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williams will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Even though Person scored an imposing 42 points on Friday, Williams still came out on top. Williams took their match against Person 55-42.
Williams' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amarion Richmond led the charge by rushing for 108 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 54 receiving yards. Dan Mahan was another key contributor, throwing for 274 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot offensive attacks in their last six games, Hunt finally came back down to earth on Friday. The match between Hunt and Fike wasn't particularly close, with Hunt falling 27-10.
Hunt's defeat came about despite a quality game from Ny'gir Alston, who picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Williams' victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.7 points per game. As for Hunt, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.
