They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Collierville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Munford made easy work of Memphis Central on Monday and carried off a 19-0 win.
Addi Jones made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Jones was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
In other pitching news, Gabby Asbill looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Walker has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Collierville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .377. However, it's not like Munford struggles in that department as they've averaged .351. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Collierville beat Munford 6-2 in their previous meeting back in April. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
