New Albany had won two straight games and Kylen Knox did his part to make it three on Friday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 45-22 margin over the Pontotoc Warriors for which the team can thank Knox, who rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 61 receiving yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 61 yards.
New Albany didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jay Boone and Jaylan Nesbit. William Hardy was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).
