Meanwhile, D'Evelyn had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Farmers with a sharp  3-0 win.
 D'Evelyn walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16,  25-18.
 D'Evelyn's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Pomona, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.
 Pomona suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to D'Evelyn  in their previous matchup  on Thursday. Can the Panthers avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
