The Crespi Celts put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 53-49 win over Mayfair. Given Crespi's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Mayfair is ranked 131st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Peyton White, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Joe Sterling was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Crespi's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Mayfair, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Crespi's road trip will continue as they head out to face King/Drew at 6:45 p.m. on November 29th. As for Mayfair, they will take on Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
