Ganado's loss came about despite a quality game from Zoey Ybarra, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. Ybarra is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Isabel Tristan, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
McMullen County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Nordheim 69-21 at home. That looming 69-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for McMullen County yet this season.
Ganado now has a losing record at 9-10. As for McMullen County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.
