Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ja'Veon Sargent-Williams, who posted 24 points along with seven assists and six boards. Sargent-Williams' morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Dahl, who went 7 of 10 en route to 23 points and five rebounds.
Aurora Central Catholic's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-13. As for Kennedy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aurora Central Catholic will welcome Nazareth Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
