The Fairhill Falcons can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 47-35 win over Westwood. The victory was just what Fairhill needed coming off of a 62-18 loss in their prior match.
Westwood lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cyrus Terry, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Ludeman, who scored five points along with 14 rebounds and four steals.
The win got Fairhill back to even at 1-1. As for Westwood, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Providence Academy the next time they take the court. Fairhill will head out to face Providence Academy at 12:00 p.m. on January 26, 2024, while Westwood will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on February 9, 2024.
