There's no place like home for Marshall, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Jefferson Bulldogs on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Mavericks haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Marshall took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-10.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Marshall and Jefferson will both be playing Henderson the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mavericks will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
