The Cookeville Cavaliers will take on the Lebanon Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with five losses in a row, Cookeville turned things around against LaVergne on Tuesday. They never let the Wolverines get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Cavaliers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Ella Dudney made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.

McKenzie Jordan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Keeli Davis, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Greer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Lebanon, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
