Gala Cervantes Game Report: @ Holtville

Gala Cervantes posted a new career-high in receiving yards on Monday. She picked up 153 receiving yards and one TD. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Holtville back in September of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Cervantes was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 56 yards.

Looking ahead, Cervantes and Vincent Memorial will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Central at 7:30 p.m. The Scots got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Spartans thanks in part to Cervantes: she picked up 63 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one score on the ground.
