The Dundalk Owls were the 58-48 winner over the Owings Mills Golden Eagles when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Dundalk took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Owings Mills. Dundalk has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Owings Mills was led to victory by Francois Bangoura and Marcus Nelson. Bangoura scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Nelson dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Bangoura pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Dundalk's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Owings Mills, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
Dundalk will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lansdowne at 5:30 p.m. Lansdowne has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 18. As for Owings Mills, they will take on Loch Raven at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Loch Raven is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
