Hackleburg had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Hubbertville Lions. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 20 games by six runs or more this season.

Hackleburg's victory bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Hubbertville, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hackleburg will square off against Red Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hubbertville, they will challenge South Lamar at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
