The Immaculate Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Immaculate is ranked 19th, while Kolbe-Cathedral is ranked 34th).
Immaculate suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Saturday. Their rough 58-33 defeat to Conard might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Immaculate has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Immaculate saw an underclassman step up: Kendra Foy scored 12 points along with three steals. That was a full 36.4% of Immaculate's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kristina Asmani, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Kolbe-Cathedral came up short against East Hampton on Saturday and fell 60-51. Kolbe-Cathedral has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Everything went Immaculate's way against Kolbe-Cathedral in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as Immaculate made off with a 61-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Immaculate since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
