The Wayland Wildcats lost  10-2 to the Carlson Marauders on Saturday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Wayland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Hoyt Borgic, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  RBI.
Wayland's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Carlson, they moved to 10-8 with that  victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayland will square off against Northview at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for Carlson, they will challenge Erie-Mason at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Marauders are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
