After losing to the Rudolf Steiner Storm the last time they met, the Battle Creek Academy Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Battle Creek Academy claimed a resounding 57-11 win over Rudolf Steiner at home. With that win, Battle Creek Academy brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.
Battle Creek Academy was led to victory by Olivia Keller and Sofia Keller. Keller dropped a double-double on 17 points and 25 rebounds, while Keller dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Keller has scored at least 25% of Battle Creek Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Costie, who scored 8 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Battle Creek Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Rudolf Steiner, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Battle Creek Academy will be playing at home against Will Carleton Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rudolf Steiner will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tournament Team on March 4, 2024.
