On Friday Bonny Eagle take on Oxford Hills/Buckfield at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
Bonny Eagle were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They put a hurting on Deering to the tune of 35-0. The Bonny Eagle offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.
Meanwhile, Oxford Hills/Buckfield put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything went their way against Cheverus as they made off with a 42-14 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Oxford Hills/Buckfield.
Their wins bumped Oxford Hills/Buckfield to 4-1 and Bonny Eagle to 5-0. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
