Ilwaco is 0-4 against Raymond/South Bend since February of 2021 but things could change  on Thursday.  Raymond/South Bend's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Isaac Schlueter, who rushed for 110 yards, and  Christopher Quintana, who rushed for 81 yards. Schlueter's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102  rushing yards.
 Ilwaco's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Raymond/South Bend, their loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 2-6.
 Ilwaco took a serious blow against Raymond/South Bend  in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023, falling  41-14. That  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Ilwaco was down  26-6.
