It was a good run, but Farmington unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn Rockets, falling 8-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Farmers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Farmington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Crawford, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 25-7. As for Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.
