If Whitinsville Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Nipmuc Regional, they should've done a better job of containing Maya Vercruysse. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crusaders on Thursday with plenty of help from Vercruysse, who had 13 digs and five aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

While Nipmuc Regional won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-18, 25-23.

Nipmuc Regional is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Whitinsville Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.
