Basketball Recap: Lake Ridge Skates Past Boswell with Ease

Lake Ridge came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Boswell Pioneers, posting a 76-35 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Lake Ridge found their leader in sophomore Roman Dulin, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points. Kyle Amadi was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 14 points.

Lake Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 26-2 record this season. As for Boswell, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mansfield the next time they take the court. Boswell will head out to face Mansfield at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lake Ridge will host them at 8:00 p.m. on January 24th.
