Meanwhile, Lakewood scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 59-19 victory over Hobbton at home. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Lakewood as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Alexis Rhodes was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 18 points. It was the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Honestee William, who scored nine points along with four steals.
The victory got Neuse Charter back to even at 12-12. As for Lakewood, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
