The Pieper Warriors will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against the Tivy Antlers at 7:15 p.m. Pieper will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Pieper kept a clean sheet against Boerne-Champion. They came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 2-0.
Pieper was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jeremy Sanchez and
Owen Harris, who scored both of Pieper's goals. The pair have combined for a total of ten so far this season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Tivy were a bit more limited in their game on Monday. Their tough 3-0 defeat to Boerne-Champion might stick with them for a while.
Pieper pushed their record up to 11-2-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those seven games. As for Tivy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4-1.
Pieper beat Tivy by a goal in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, winning 2-1. Will Pieper repeat their success, or does Tivy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
