Cesar Chavez's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Malia Woodberry led the charge by scoring 15 points along with 9 rebounds and 8 steals. Woodberry hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Lakeisha Robinson, who scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
The last time West Point won on the road was back on Thursday. Having now lost four straight away games, they've bumped their record down to 0-9. As for Cesar Chavez, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
West Point will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against St. John Paul II Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on December 13th. As for Cesar Chavez, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shadow Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
