Saint Francis has won six straight games at home, while Rocklin has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Lancers will welcome the Thunder at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Saint Francis 1.7, Rocklin 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Saint Francis is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Willow Glen by a score of 9-6. The victory continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won four in a row.

Bianka Fisher and Lexi Fisher dominated on the mound. Bianka pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, while Lexi tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Lexi has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Saint Francis let Peyton Tsao and Maya Yumiba run wild. Tsao went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Yumiba went 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. Hayden Hummel was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Rocklin faced Whitney in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Saturday. The Thunder fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Thunder's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Payton Prior spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up ten Ks.
At the plate, Rocklin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Wetteland, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Rocklin's loss dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Saint Francis, their win bumped their record up to 27-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Saint Francis has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Rocklin struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
