Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Eleanor Valkner, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Jessie Pugh was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Suttons Bay bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.0 points per game. As for Glen Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
Suttons Bay took a serious blow against Glen Lake when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 80-7. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Suttons Bay was down 45-5.
