Maybe the Mathews offense has finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance is an 180-degree turn from their last 4 games.
The win bumped Mathews' record up to 2-7. This is the second loss in a row for Charles City and nudges their record down to 1-6.
The Blue devils are on the road again on Friday and play against Charles City at 7 p.m. ET. The Blue devils don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. As for Charles City, they do not have any more games currently scheduled.
