The Seneca Bobcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 28-19 to Walhalla. Despite 117 more yards than Walhalla, Seneca couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Despite the loss, Seneca had strong showings from Camsley Campbell, who rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns, and Kamari Hudson, who picked up 154 receiving yards and a touchdown. Hudson's longest reception was for an incredible 76 yards.
Walhalla can attribute much of their success to Silas Parish, who rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Seneca now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Walhalla, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
Seneca will head out on the road to face off against West-Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West-Oak comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Walhalla, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pendleton at 7:30 p.m. Pendleton is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
