Meanwhile, Palm Beach Gardens had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 79-70 victory over Forest Hill on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Somerset Academy (Silver Palms)'s win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Palm Beach Gardens, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
