On Monday, the stars were shining brightly for Bridgeton in a 53-38 victory over Holy Spirit. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bridgeton.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bridgeton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jameel Purnell, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zikwon Anderson, who scored 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Bridgeton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Holy Spirit, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Bridgeton will be home for the holidays to greet Cedar Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Holy Spirit, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Augustine Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
