Immanuel Christian School kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 31-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fellowship Baptist Academy Falcons.
Leading Fellowship Baptist Academy to victory were Hudson McAlvey and Trevor Thompson. McAlvey went 7-for-8 en route to 15 points, while Thompson posted six points in addition to eight boards and four steals. McAlvey has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 45% every time he's hit the court this season.
The win was the third in a row for Fellowship Baptist Academy, bringing their record up to 3-1.
Immanuel Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 28-0 victory against Lakecrest Baptist on the 6th.
