Meanwhile, while Osbourn put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Unity Reed. The Eagles put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 17-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four games by nine runs or more so far this season.
MacKenzie Fitterer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Fitterer was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Britney Reyes, who fired off two triples, four RBI, and two runs while going 4-for-4. Those triples were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tristyn Kershner, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Patriot hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Osbourn struggles in that department as they've averaged .394. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Patriot took their victory against Osbourn in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 14-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
