Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Booker T. Washington Magnet Yellow Jackets as they made off with a 73-47 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-47 back in December of 2024.

Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Iyanis Wallace out in front who went 9 for 19 on his way to 20 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Christian Lawrence, who went 7 of 17 en route to 15 points in addition to eight assists and seven rebounds.

Central has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Booker T. Washington Magnet, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Booker T. Washington Magnet has also already played their next game, a 51-32 loss against Holtville on the 31st.
