It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Fair Grove Eagles had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 26-10 victory over Strafford. Fair Grove's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Fair Grove can attribute much of their success to Kellen Lair, who rushed for 181 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Spensar Seiger was another key contributor, rushing for 125 yards on only 15 carries.
Fair Grove's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Strafford, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Fair Grove will face off against Father Tolton at TBD on Friday. One thing working in Father Tolton's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. Strafford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
