Chetopa's Derrick Cassell recorded the longest rushing play in Three Rivers (8 Man) this season in his game against Tyro Christian last week. Cassell's team beat the Eagles as he sprinted for 71 yards on the play and finished with 138 in all.
Phillip Moses and Austen Sanders provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Tyro Christian. The connection was good for 55 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Chetopa's dynamic duo of Moses and Sanders proved tough for the Eagles to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Moses threw for 211 yards and five touchdowns and Sanders had 105 yards receiving. Trenton Scott helped Chetopa's passing attack out by catching four balls for 55 yards.
KYLE HAMMOND was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 25 carries, he ran for 185 yards as Crest topped Tyro Christian. DYLAN SEDLAK also contributed to the rushing game with 71 yards on the ground.
Chetopa's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Moses has thrown for 680 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Sanders has 31 catches for 408 yards. Cassell leads the league in rushing with 719 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pleasanton takes on St. Paul. The Blu-Jays are in third place, while the Indians are in first place.
Marmaton Valley extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Marais des Cygnes Valley, 66-42. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
