After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monroe County, Shields was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Excel 59-4. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Shields considering their 22-point performance the game before.

The win got Shields back to even at 1-1. As for Excel, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shields will host Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Excel, they will take on W.S. Neal at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
