The North Ridgeville Rangers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Elyria 80-51 on the road. With that victory, North Ridgeville brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Grace Kingery was her usual excellent self, scoring 45 points along with seven assists and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Lime, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
The win was the fourth in a row for North Ridgeville, bringing their record for this year to 9-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Elyria, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Ridgeville will take on Midview at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Midview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 210th, while North Ridgeville is ranked 48th). As for Elyria, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Firelands at 7:00 p.m. on January 8th.
