It was a good run, but the Waukesha West Wolverines unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a serious blow against Arrowhead, falling 67-31. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Natlie Kussow continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Arrowhead, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Robel, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Waukesha West's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Arrowhead, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Waukesha West will take on Arrowhead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waukesha West will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Arrowhead is ranked second). As for Arrowhead, they will head out on the road to face off against Waukesha West at 7:00 p.m. Arrowhead has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
