The Milford Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They strolled past Western Brown with points to spare, taking the game 78-59. That looming 78-59 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Milford yet this season.
Milford got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Vollman out in front who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. Jay Brossart was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Milford has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Western Brown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Milford won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. Hopefully Harrison focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Friday. Western Brown will finish 2023 at home by hosting Fayetteville-Perry at 3:30 p.m. on December 28th.
