 La Costa Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 12-18. As for Poway, their win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 24-16.
 La Costa Canyon beat Poway 3-1  when the teams last played  back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
