There's no place like home for Prestonsburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past the Knott County Central Patriots 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blackcats have posted since April 9th.

Kaden Allen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Luke Hall, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Allen, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Prestonsburg's record now sits at 8-17. As for Knott County Central, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prestonsburg will head out to face off against Johnson Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Knott County Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Letcher County Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
