They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Torrington Christian Academy 43-41. The win made it back-to-back wins for American School for the Deaf.
It was another big night for Jordan G, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of American School for the Deaf's points. Another player making a difference was Winkester M, who scored eight points along with five steals.
American School for the Deaf's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Torrington Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
American School for the Deaf will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lexington School for the Deaf at 5:15 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Torrington Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
