Curtis Tucker Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Antioch's Curtis Tucker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tucker rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.1). He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made four total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Freedom had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Tucker it was a similar story. Tucker rushed for 133 yards while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and the Falcons duked it out back in October of 2023.

Liberty has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Robertson and Liberty will square off against Pittsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jamar Searcy's Big Game Leads Pittsburg over Heritage
Pittsburg picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jamar Searcy. Searcy did his part (and then some), rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries for the 'W'. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 96 yards.
For the year, Searcy has averaged 17.1 receiving yards per game.

Bell Posts Huge Game in 42-7 Victory
Another Liberty player making an appearance on this list is Jaxon Bell. He picked up 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 115 yards on only 14 carries. His longest reception was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
On the year, Bell has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 47.3 receiving yards per game.
