Clear Lake entered their tilt with Bellaire on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Clear Lake took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-4.

Landry Youngdahl paced Clear Lake's offense, picking up nine kills. Youngdahl got some help from Peyton Aldridge and her ten assists. Abigail Vogelmeier controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Clear Lake's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Bellaire, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Clear Lake has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Manvel on the 21st. As for Bellaire, they will take on Clear Brook at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
