The Dutch Fork Silver Foxes will take on the Spring Valley Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Dutch Fork's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Spring Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Spring Valley will be up against a hot Dutch Fork team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Dutch Fork never let White Knoll get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Thursday. The two-run effort marked the Silver Foxes' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Boone Miller
03/27/25 @ White Knoll | 5 |
03/20/25 vs Chapin | 7 |
03/15/25 vs Greer | 5 |
The result came thanks to Boone Miller's shutout, as he gave up just four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Dutch Fork's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was L Cesario, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring Valley). They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over Ridge View on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Blazers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Daniel Bledsoe was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Spring Valley is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-7 otherwise. Bledsoe was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, Jayden Williams was incredible, scoring five runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jackson Williams, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Spring Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ridge View only posted a batting average of .111.
Spring Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Dutch Fork, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
