Woodstown is a perfect 4-0 against Wildwood since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wolverines will challenge the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. Woodstown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Leah Clark was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Wygand, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wildwood). Everything went their way against Lower Cape May on Monday as they made off with a 25-6 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Warriors with their most commanding win of the season.
Emma Contreras made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Contreras was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-6 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Allyson Lillo and Antoinette Cooper did most of the damage at the plate: Lillo got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Cooper got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Ellasyn Morey also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Wildwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Wildwood's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Woodstown, their record now sits at 11-7.
Wildwood's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Woodstown hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .378. It's a different story for Wildwood, though, as they've only averaged .259. Will they be able to contain Woodstown's hitters?
Woodstown took their victory against Wildwood in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-0 score. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
